Seventy-seven Opponents in a Simultaneous Display!

Samuel Reshevsky tackled 77 opponents simultaneously in Los Angeles on Feb. 22nd. John McMillan and Dr. Sam Naiditch beat him, there were 21 draws (many adjudicated) and he won the remaining 54 games. It is not stated how long the event lasted (we guess, some six hours) but more than 200 spectators watched. Each spectator paid a dollar (7s.), each player $3.
