Shreve Cup

The firm of Shreve & Co., of San Francisco has given a cup for tournaments among the students of Berkeley University. The cup will be known as the "Shreve Perpetual Chess Trophy." It stands on an ebony base, the whole being twelve inches in height, and is engraved with chess designs. The names of the champions will be engraved upon the side. The trophy was secured through the efforts of H. M. Hall '07.
